Book Binding with Amy Kitcherside

This bookbinding day course is a great choice for beginners. No previous experience is necessary. You will learn some basic skills involved in making a book and be introduced to some standard bookbinding tools. Over the course of the day you will sew and cover a slim notebook from scratch, and experience working with different types of paper, board and book cloth. All materials are provided but please bring an apron to protect your clothes and an A4 padded envelope to take your book away in. Please note there will be some measuring and cutting involved. We will be using craft knives so this course is only suitable for 16+
