The Jopes Ensemble present Bach, Vivaldi and Handel by Candlelight

Vivaldi Bach and Handel by Candlelight at St Germans Priory Come with us on a candlelit journey though some of the most beautiful music from the great composers of the baroque period. We will start in Italy, with two virtuosic concertos by Vivaldi - one for bassoon and the other for four violins. Our journey continues with Bach and his D minor keyboard concerto - perhaps the first proper piano concerto. And finally we arrive in London where Handel’s Water Music accompanied King George 1st royal barge on the Thames.
