Brush making workshop with function & Form

Brush Making is coming to The Hepworth on the 29th August. Book onto this 2.5-hour workshop to learn how to bind plant fibres into brooms using a traditional binding technique seen in many cultures around the world. We will be spending our time binding in 2 different fibres. The first broom we will make will be in a softer, more workable fibre which is brilliant as a crumb, dusting or table brush and the second brush in a stiffer Broomcorn, which is brilliant as a hard floor or rug broom. You will go home with your 2 brooms to use for a lifetime and a skill you can get creative with and go on to work with other fibres and bindings.
