Threshold: Lyric Players Belfast – Launch
To celebrate our 75th anniversary year, join us as we launch a special edition anthology of Threshold, the Lyric and Northern Ireland’s premier literary and periodical which ran between 1957 and 1990. First published by our founding editor Mary O’Malley, this beautiful new coffee table book bridges art book and literary anthology and includes works from all 39 editions of Threshold. Enclosed in stunning hard-back linen binding, it features more than 380 pages of poetry, fiction, essays, art criticism, theatre polemics, short stories and a curated selection of visual archival materials - some of which have never been seen - from the journal’s archive.
