A million for Macmillan! Every December since 1996, Oxford’s magnificent Christ Church Cathedral has resounded to the sound of exquisite choral music and the voices of the country’s best-known actors, performing readings to celebrate the arrival of the Christmas season. This much-loved annual event is Follow the Stars Macmillan Carols, fund-raising in support of the invaluable work of Macmillan Cancer Support, and takes place this year on Friday 11th December at 8pm. To mark our 30th anniversary, we are planning an extra-special celebration, combining nostalgic elements from our inaugural concert and the talents of the brightest stars of today to entertain and move the audience. We will have celebrity readings from Sinead Cusack, Toby Jones and Mel Giedroyc.
