Writers' Card: Zoom Focus Sessions

Struggling to focus on your own? Keep putting off starting a draft, finishing a rewrite or getting an idea out of your head and onto the page? We know the feeling… Once a month, the Royal Court will host a Zoom focus session for writers, where we’ll hold each other to account for getting some proper work done. Free and open for all Writers’ Card Members to attend, these two-hour sessions will be a place to support dedicated, quiet creative work for anyone who needs the extra push. Each Zoom session will be hosted by a member of the Royal Court’s artistic team. At the start we will take five minutes to go around, introduce ourselves, and state our ambitions and intentions for the two-hour period. All participants will be asked to turn their microphones off for the duration of the meeting, but invited to keep video turned on for accountability as they prefer. And, of course, you can join o
