Autumn 2026: STATION
Artist Hussina Raja brings her immersive living room installation to the Albany. Shaped around the idea of a radio tuning between different "stations in life" – childhood, adolescence, pregnancy, motherhood, and the experience of being mothered – STATION is developed in collaboration with local women, and combines text, live sound score, movement and installation to create an intimate domestic environment. Part performance, part gathering space, this evolving work-in-progress celebrates female resilience, strength and collective power. Developed in close collaboration with choreographer Vidiya Patel and composer and sound-designer Fran Lobo
