Creative Visible Mending with Jayne Eagle

Workshop aim - To learn creative, visible mending with hand stitching. During the session learners would learn how to patch with both a denim and a lightweight fabric using a variety of hand stitches, learners would be encouraged to be creative and experimental whilst learning solid learning skills. Who is this suitable for? - beginner friendly, no experience needed. This is a introductory workshop to patching. Workshop outcomes - learners would be able to identify worn and torn textiles and know how to approach mending them with hand sewing. Materials - All materials (fabric swatches, threads etc), tools, handouts provide. (please note, I work with recycled textiles in my workshops).
