Talks Revisited: Audrey Hepburn
When we hear the name Audrey Hepburn, we think of Breakfast at Tiffany’s or My Fair Lady and many more amazing films. Born in Belgium, she became a legend of screen and stage and a fashion icon. She was loved by everyone, men wanted to be with her and women wanted to be her. She was one of the few actresses to win an Emmy, Tony, Grammy and Academy Award. These are not the only achievements of this remarkable woman. Come and join me to find out more about the person, her life and her political and humanitarian activities? Monika Lind is a retired university lecturer of Culture and Humanities Studies with a passion to continue to share her eclectic interests in and knowledge of all things cultural with you. For those that missed the talks the first time around or if you just want to hear the talk again.
