Yael Bartana is one of the most significant visual and mixed-media artists working today. Based in Berlin, she created What if Women Ruled the World, a visionary re-imagining of Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove, for Manchester International Festival in 2017, and has since created a series of works re-imagining our shared futures, including her critically praised project for the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2024.
