AU26 - Parkinson's Meetup & Move

A welcoming new dance class created for people living with Parkinson’s across Suffolk. Discover the joy of movement in a supportive, friendly space. Parkinson’s Meetup & Move is a brand new creative dance class from DanceEast, designed especially for people living with Parkinson’s and their supporters/companions. Meetup & Move is led by trained and experienced dance practitioners and underpinned by our experience as a regional hub for English National Ballet's Dance for Parkinson's programme and a wealth of research which shows how beneficial dance is for people living with Parkinson's; to manage, alleviate and potentially slow the progression of physical symptoms, and to help other associated symptoms such as mental health. Sessions run for 90 minutes, from 2-3.30pm, with 60 minutes of dancing followed by 30 minutes of social time and refreshments. Classes can be enjoyed both seated and
