Cultivate: When it Snows in April
Set in 2011 in South London, When it Snows in April is a Black-British coming-of-age love story. The play explores the raw journey of two young people as they navigate grief. April is guarded, observant, and solitary; Francis is ambitious, charming, and inquisitive. What binds them is the quiet ache and weighted grief of losing loved ones. Told through intimate dialogue and poetic rhythm, this two-hander takes us through a period of love, loss, and growth within an environment rife with social pressures. When It Snows in April asks how we carry the people we lose, and what it means to hold on - and when to let go.
