Cultivate: When it Snows in April

Set in 2011 in South London, When it Snows in April is a Black-British coming-of-age love story. The play explores the raw journey of two young people as they navigate grief. April is guarded, observant, and solitary; Francis is ambitious, charming, and inquisitive. What binds them is the quiet ache and weighted grief of losing loved ones. Told through intimate dialogue and poetic rhythm, this two-hander takes us through a period of love, loss, and growth within an environment rife with social pressures.
